The Ndutu Calving Season Serengeti Migration is a remarkable annual event that occurs in the southern Serengeti plains of Tanzania. It is a testament to the incredible cycle of life as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles embark on a journey that has been repeated for generations.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park, 130 kilometers drive -two hours

After breakfast at the lodge/hotel, you leave early to the Tarangire National park for your Northern Tanzania Safari Tours Costs. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park.

The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing after game evening drive you back to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Kitela lodges.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

The breakfast will be at 0600am. Pick up from the Camp at 0700am and drive to the Great Serengeti National with your Picnic Lunch Packed and game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti National Park the home to lion leopard Elephant Cheetah Buffalo Zebra Wildebeest Eland Wild dog Gazelles Crocodiles and more.

Day 3: Central Serengeti game drive

After breakfast, you will have a Luxurious Northern Tanzania Safari game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing.

Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and many animals, dinner and overnight at the kubu kubu lodge.

Day 4: Southern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the morning, depart for a game drive with packed lunch.  you will have a full-day game drive in Southern Serengeti. 

Depending on the time of the year, this eight days calving season safari will be located in southern Serengeti where you will see migration animals delivering babies. Later in the evening back to the  Tented camp or lodge for diner and overnight.

Day 5: Southern Serengeti National Park

You will start the day after breakfast for animal sightings in Ndutu plains, southern Serengeti for witnessing the calving. The southern part of Serengeti is covered by short grasslands which attract herbivores of many types making the visibility slightly easy compared to open grassland. You can expect crocodiles preying on wildebeest.

On this night, you will stay in Southern Serengeti tented camp or Lodge. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Early breakfast at your lodge or camp then packs your things before you leave the lodge or camp for morning animal sightings. In the afternoon, you will sit for your picnic lunch then continue with afternoon animal sightings as you drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim for an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater- Safari in Tanzania

Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”.
Later, you will proceed back to Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at  Kitela Lodge.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast the journey to Lake Manyara for your Calving Safari in Tanzania. On the lakeshore, you can also observe elephants, hippopotami, buffalos, guenons, banded mongooses, and numerous types of gazelles and antelopes. Furthermore, the park is well known for its tree-climbing lions.

Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Arusha and Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
Your safari holiday will take place in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Southern Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park.
