Day 1: Arrive in Arusha 

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a our pick up transfer Driver and driven to your lodge where the remainder of the day is at leisure – rest in your room, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or explore Arusha and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours, the choice is yours.

Overnight – Mount Meru Hotel, Arusha

Day 2: Arusha National Park 

Depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, a short 40-minute drive from Arusha town.
Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, affectionately known as the “Little Ngorongoro”. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and zebras can all be seen year-round as well as many different bird species. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed.
Later proceed back to Arusha in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel. Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you from your hotel at 8:30 am and then we drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. The Park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south.

The best base camp Safari Tanzania takes you to the best safari location and sees both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Later proceed for dinner and overnight at Karatu farm of Valley.

Day 4: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After your breakfast, and then we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your Tanzania mid-range Safaris. This impressive National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Western escarpment.

The Park varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of Elephants; Manyara is famous for a Tree-climbing lion, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Karatu farm of Valley

Day 5: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start your journey ahead towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

Head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch at Nabi gate and enjoy the late 2hrs afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 6: Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

Today you will venture deeper into the world-famous Serengeti on a full day game drive in search of the great wildebeest migration.

You will base yourself around the Mara River area where crocodiles prey and the wildebeest gather and wait to cross. For days, their numbers will increase, and anticipation grows however, for no apparent reason, many will turn and wander away from the water’s edge. Eventually the wildebeest will choose a crossing point which varies from year to year and cannot be predicted.

Nowhere in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the great wildebeest migration and to witness it is a once in a lifetime experience.

Day 7: Northern Serengeti game drive

After having breakfast, you will experience a game drive following the animal migration. You can see wildebeests, zebras, topi hartebeests, elands, antelopes, hyenas, and various birds singing in the trees while viewing the beautiful landscape and nature. Usually, in July, August, and the beginning of November, the migration reaches its northern range in which the herds cross the grasslands on either bank of the crocodile-infested Mara River twice, as they complete their migration. You will also be able to enjoy the sunset at Serengeti between 18:20 – 18:40 after the game drive before returning and staying dinner and overnight – Mara Kati Kati Camp, Serengeti National Park.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After night relaxing, you will have a Great Migration Safaris game drive in the morning, together with breakfast followed by an early lunch, you will proceed to Ngorongoro. Today, you will be doing a game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro lodge. or Ngorongoro rhino. or stay outside Ngorongoro crater. Dinner and overnight at the Karatu farm of Valley

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you depart for the descent down the crater for a five-to-six-hour game drive. In the crater, you are able to view the Big Five. See buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. After the game drive in Ngorongoro crater, our driver will take you back to Arusha overnight at the hotel booked for you. Arusha Hotel

Day 10: Transfer you to Airport (End of Safaris in Tanzania)

After breakfast in the hotel, we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight back home or to the next safari destination, you’re planning yourself. This will be the end of your tour and safari with us.
