Kubu Kubu is set on a hillside with sweeping views over the central plains of the Serengeti National Park, this makes it the ideal setting for viewing year-round, resident game. At certain times of year, it is also possible to view the migration herds as they make their way through the central region of the park.

The guest rooms at Kubu Kubu stand on solid timber platforms and the outside showers and private balconies make the most of the sweeping views below. The main areas of the lodge, also set on the hillside, are generously proportioned, and elegantly furnished. The lounge and the dining area both flow out onto a large deck where guests can enjoy al fresco dining, snacks, and of course sundowner drinks around the obligatory campfire.
