An 8-day Tanzania wilderness safari covering Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi, and Tarangire sounds like an incredible adventure! Here’s an overview of what you can expect from each destination:

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport

Upon arrival at either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara/Tarangire National Park

On the second day, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara/Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. You can also explore the park’s birdlife, as it’s a haven for numerous bird species. Overnight stay at a lodge/camp near Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Lake Manyara/Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start your journey ahead towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

Head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch at Nabi gate and enjoy the late 2hrs afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight stay in the accommodation choose.

Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full day in different parts of the Serengeti! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided. The central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year due to its abundance of resident animals. The Seronera River Valley in particular is a “must see” on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel.

That said, game viewing in this area of the park is at its best during the dry season (June-November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard. Dinner and overnight stay in the accommodation choose.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up call in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. After the game drive, we’ll return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then proceed to en route game to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World.

The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark. It inhabits almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino.

The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. Dinner and overnight at rim of crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Migration safaris in East Africa: After having breakfast at the lodge, you will leave early to Tarangire National park. It is the third-largest park in Tanzania and characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of it.

Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Many animals, predators, and their prey gather around the river and you can do excellent game viewings. Dinner and overnight at the Chem Chem Lodge.

Day 3. Lake Manyara National Park

After having breakfast, you will continue the journey and visit Lake Manyara National Park. The protected area encloses a large part of the alkaline lake of the same name. This amazing lake is the seasonal home of a giant flamingo colony and many more waterfowls. Furthermore, the park is well known for its “tree climbing lions”. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you will leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. Day 4: Chem Chem Lodge to Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Western Serengeti Migration

Enjoy a full day game drive in the Western Corridor. A key feature in the Western Corridor is the Grumeti and Mbalageti Rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each supporting a band of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators, and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippos and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On this day, you will start early at 07:00 for a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.
Your driver/guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

You will be met at the Airport of Kilimanjaro by your Driver / Guide and our representative. We will take you to the Serena lodge situated outside of Arusha Town at the slopes of majestic Mount Meru. Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge. Afterward, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Kitela Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible birdlife. Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”.
Later, you will proceed back to Arusha in the evening. Overnight at Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 10: Transport in Arusha – Kilimanjaro airport

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park

On this day, you will start early at 07:00 for your Tanzania Safari holiday a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.

Day 1: Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National park

Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar: After breakfast early in the morning from 7:00 am pick and drive to the airport where you will start Safari from Zanzibar airport. The flights take you to Serengeti National Park at Seronera airstrip where you will meet with our driver-guide holding your names with your group in A4 written paper. After pick up, you will have a safari brief and then continuous with the game driver, later in the afternoon, you will have lunch + water or a cup of coffee. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

After breakfast, you will have a game viewing at Serengeti National Park. Day 5: Arusha — Kilimanjaro National Park — Airport Flight back Home

On the first day, you have to drive about 2 hrs through Kilimanjaro in the morning the semi-tropical foothills to the Marangu area which situated on the south-eastern side of the mountain. As you drive, there is usually some admirable view of the snow-capped peak of the mountain.

On arrival at Marangu gate, you meet your team of guides and porters, pick up any last-minute supplies for the trek, and head to the entrance of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park to register for the climb.

From the cluster of buildings at the gate, it is some four to five hours walk through patches of coffee plantation and dense rainforest to Mandara Hut. Mandara Hut is a collection of basic, A-frame mountain huts with bunk beds – quite adequate for your needs – where you inevitably meet up with fellow trekkers who are bent on the same goal.

Day 1 Arrival - Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport. You will be met by our driver guide and transferred to Hotel overnight. If you arrived in the afternoon you will be able to have Arusha city tours late back to the hotel. Arusha Gran Melia Hotel.

Day 2 Arusha - Tarangire

8 Days Luxury Wildebeest Migration Safari. In the morning you will start your safari with a drive to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxemburg and covers an area of about 2,600 km². Bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Apart from elephants, the park is also home to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and more than 500 types of birds. After an extensive game drive (safari) you will leave the park in the afternoon and drive to the Kitela lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti Wildebeest Migration: After breakfast, you will travel from the Tarangire Area to the lush highlands where crops such as wheat, corn, and coffee are grown. Traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area you might stop for a breathtaking view over the Ngorongoro Crater before you continue to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Masai and you will see the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon. Bizarre rock formations dot the grassy landscape where predators roam. After breakfast we will drive you full game drive following the animal Serengeti Wildebeest Migration at the Northern Serengeti where the migration will be, you can see wildebeest, zebra, a topi hartebeest, eland, antelope, hyena, varieties of birds singing on the trees also viewing the beauty of landscape &nature. Usually, In the month of August and November, the migration reaches its northern Serengeti. The grasslands on either bank of the crocodile-infested Mara River which the herds must cross not once, but twice, as they complete their migration. Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha

Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater Tanzania safaris tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”.

Day 9: Arusha Gran Melia Hotel to Airport.
