Best time:  June to October and January to March. 

Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Depart Zanzibar at 8:00 am on a scheduled light aircraft flight to Serengeti National Park, enjoying scenic aerial views of Tanzania’s landscapes along the way. Arrive at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 10:30 am, where your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you. Begin your Unforgettable Fly-out in Serengeti & Zanzibar with the first game drive immediately, exploring the wildlife-rich central Serengeti, famous for big cats and vast plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the drive before continuing your safari adventure. In the evening, head to your mid-range tented camp or basic budget campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast, you will have a game viewing towards Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and riverine forest systems, which serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. Beyond the Fly in- Mid-Range Safari Northern Circuit, heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large prides of Lions and clans of Hyenas, and can see the big 5. Dinner and overnight at Mid-range tented camp or basic budget campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park game drive

Embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Spend three days exploring the vast plains and witnessing the Great Migration (depending on the time of year). Experience incredible Serengeti Fly-Out Safari & Zanzibar Bliss, wildlife encounters, spot animals like cheetah, lion, black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, wildebeest, zebra, eland, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, buffalo, wildebeest, hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog, hyena, and jackals. Primates include baboons and vervet monkeys.

Also, during the game drive, you might spot some birds which include ostrich, bizarre secretary, black eagles, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds, bustards and plovers, European migrants from November to May include White Storks, swallows, Yellow Wagtails among others, Stonechat, Schalow’s Wheatear, Anteater Chat, Fiscal Shrike, Augur Buzzards, Verreaux’s Eagle and flamingoes. Day 4: Serengeti game drive

After breakfast, continue with both morning and afternoon game drives in Central Serengeti National Park during your Serengeti wildebeest Migration Safari. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the ‘Great Migration’, with over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year following the rains.

In October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds then make their return,  Fly Into Serengeti Great Migration from Zanzibar. Day 5: Farewell Day: Transfer to Seronera Airport 

You will have an early morning game drive within the Serengeti National Park, a last Fly-in & fly-out Serengeti safari, followed by a heavy breakfast. After breakfast in the camp, we will transfer you to the Seronera airport with your packed lunch box + water to take a flight back to Zanzibar.  This will be the end of your tour and safari with us.
