Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants

Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your lodge at 7:45 am for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll explore the park in an open-roof vehicle, taking in the seasonal swamps, expansive savannah, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for a variety of bird species, graceful giraffes, elegant impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and majestic elephants. Depart from the accommodation and drive to Serengeti across Ngorongoro Conservation Area and later arrive on the great Serengeti plains for a different but just as spectacular wildlife viewing experience. Then you will have one of the world’s greatest adventure safaris with us. You will reach Naabi Gate around 2:30 pm. As the day progresses, your skilled safari guide will take a break and have a hot lunch, and then resume your wildlife expedition. Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Today’s adventure begins early as you depart from your northern Serengeti mid-range accommodation with a packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive. This offers the best opportunity to spot animals when they are most active. A stop at a picturesque picnic site allows you to enjoy breakfast in the heart of the wilderness. Following this, the game drive will resume, keeping you captivated until you return to the camp around noon for a satisfying hot lunch. Once you’ve had lunch and loaded up your vehicle, it’s time to bid farewell to the camp and set off for Ngorongoro. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Mid-range accommodation in Ngorongoro.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

After breakfast, drive along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descend into the crater floor for 5-6 hours on an adventurous path—what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants, and waterbucks increase during the wet season. Search for the ‘Big Five‘ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened black rhinoceros. Mid-range safari accommodations in Karatu

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, you will be met at your accommodation by your safari guide. You will then set out for Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small but diverse park is so named for a shallow salt lake that covers a large area of the park’s surface. Flooding and drying with the seasons, this soda lake is home to thousands of flamingos, with another 500 bird species represented in the park. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes —not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Overnight in River Tree in Arusha.

Day 10: Departure at Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or your preferred drop-off point in Arusha for departure.
