A comparison of the routes on Kilimanjaro

Embarking on a Kilimanjaro climb involves choosing a route that aligns with your priorities. The Machame route (6-7 days) is popular for its scenic beauty and good acclimatization, leading to a high success rate (around 85% for 7-day treks), but it can be crowded. The Lemosho route (7-9 days) is considered the most scenic with excellent acclimatization and a high success rate (around 90%), offering a less crowded experience initially but joining the Machame route later.
