You get from the Serengeti to Zanzibar on a scheduled domestic flight, usually with a connection through Arusha. Light aircraft depart from airstrips inside or near the park and land at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport on Zanzibar. Alternatively, you can drive back to Arusha after your final game drive and fly to the island the next morning. It is usually better to do your safari first and finish your trip in Zanzibar.
