Day 1: Tanzania Arrival | Safari in Tanzania

Pick up you at Kilimanjaro airport/Arusha airport transfer you to Arusha. We booked a hotel for you overnight ready to start your tour the following day. You will meet with our safari manager to give you briefly about safari. After that you will continue leisure in your hotel. Overnight at  Mount Meru Hotel Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you from your hotel at 8:00 am and then we drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. The Park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. 

The best base camp Safari Tanzania takes you to the best safari location and sees both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Later proceed for dinner and overnight at Karatu farm of Valley.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After your breakfast, and then we drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your Tanzania mid-range Safaris. This impressive National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Western escarpment.

Then after the game drive, you will continue your way over the scrub-lands and you will have 2 hrs late evening game drive in Serengeti National Park. overnight and dinner at Central Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 5: Central Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast, you will have a game viewing towards Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. 

Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and able to see the big 5. Dinner and overnight at Central Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will have early in the morning start your game drive in Serengeti later back to drive you to picnic site for branch and hot lunch, Our driver and cook will load everything on the top of our safari jeep after then continue with the game drive while looking to be our of Serengeti to proceed to Ngorongoro. 

Today, you will be doing a game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Serena lodge/ Rhino lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

On our last day we start very early in the morning equipped with a picnic lunch we descend 2000 ft. down to the Crater floor by our 4×4- 4WD – wheel drive vehicle for game viewing for 5-6hrs. Let explore this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic Crater. 

There is rich pasture, swamps, forest, and permanent water on the Crater floor that is why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. Late in the afternoon drive back to Arusha directly to the hotel we booked for your overnight. Arusha Mount Meru Hotel. 

Day 7: Transfer you to Airport (End of Safaris in Tanzania)

After breakfast in the hotel, we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight back home or to the next safari destination, you’re planning yourself. This will be the end of your tour and safari with us.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania. You will be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Overnight at Arusha Gran Melia Hotel

Day 2-3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Spend two days exploring the park on game drives, observing wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Overnight stays will be at a lodge or campsite within or near the park. Tarangire Safari Lodge or Maramboi Tented Lodge

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

Leave Tarangire and head to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the park, which is famous for its diverse ecosystems and abundant birdlife. Look out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and other wildlife. In the evening, continue to your accommodation for overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at Kitela Lodge

Day 5: Lake Manyara Park to Central Serengeti game drive

After breakfast, we depart from the accommodation and drive to Serengeti across Ngorongoro Conservation Area and later arrive on the great Serengeti plains for a different but just as spectacular wildlife viewing experience.

Then you will have one of the world’s greatest adventure safari with us. You will reach at Naabi gate around 14:30 pm. Then after the game drive, you will continue your way over the scrub-lands and you will have 2 hrs late evening game drive in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Day 6: Serengeti National Park game drive

Embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Spend three days exploring the vast plains and witnessing the Great Migration (depending on the time of year). Experience incredible wildlife encounters, spot animals like cheetah, lion, black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, wildebeest the zebra the eland, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, and buffalo, wildebeest, hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog, hyena and jackals. Primates include baboons and vervet monkeys.

Also during the game drive you might spot some birds which include ostrich, bizarre secretary, black eagles, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds, bustards and plovers, European migrants from November to May include White Storks, swallows, Yellow Wagtails among others, Stonechat, Schalow’s Wheatear, Anteater Chat, Fiscal Shrike, Augur Buzzards, Verreaux’s Eagle and flamingoes. Overnight stays will be at lodges within or near the park. Dinner and overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Day 7: Central Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast, you will have a game viewing towards Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing.

Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and able to see the big 5. Dinner and overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge

Day 8: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will have early in the morning start your game drive in Serengeti later back to drive you to picnic site for branch and hot lunch, Our driver and cook will load everything on the top of our safari jeep after then continue with the game drive while looking to be our of Serengeti to proceed to Ngorongoro.

Today, you will be doing a game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Day 9: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi

On our last day we start very early in the morning equipped with a picnic lunch we descend 2000 ft. down to the Crater floor by our 4×4- 4WD – wheel drive vehicle for game viewing for 5-6hrs. Let explore this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic Crater.

There is rich pasture, swamps, forest, and permanent water on the Crater floor that is why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. Late in the afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge

Day 10: Lake Eyasi

Continue your journey to Lake Eyasi, a scenic salt lake in the Rift Valley. Explore the area and interact with the local Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, experiencing their unique cultures and traditional way of life. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a representative from your chosen safari company who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha.

After checking in and freshening up, you can rest and relax at the lodge or explore the town of Arusha if you arrive early in the day.  In the evening, you’ll have a briefing with your safari guide to go over the itinerary and answer any questions you may have. Overnight stay at a lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Tarangire is known for its large concentration of elephants, especially during the dry season when herds gather around the Tarangire River.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in the park, with a packed lunch provided by your lodge or guide. Spot wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay near Tarangire.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive from Tarangire. Lake Manyara is renowned for its diverse birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, storks, and more.

Enjoy a morning game drive in the park, where you might also spot tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, head to your accommodation for lunch and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, you have the option of visiting a nearby Maasai village to experience their culture and way of life (additional cost). Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp near Lake Manyara.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, approximately a 3-hour drive. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater and one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.

Enjoy a full-day game drive inside the crater, which is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) and an abundance of other animals.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend to the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Seronera Valley)

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey can take about 4-6 hours, but the scenic views along the way are worth it. Enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation in the Seronera region, located in the heart of the park.

The Seronera Valley is famous for its abundant wildlife and is an excellent spot for spotting predators like lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp in the Seronera area.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Embark on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park. The Serengeti’s diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to acacia woodlands, support a wide variety of wildlife.

Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to witness the great wildebeest migration, one of the most incredible wildlife spectacles on the planet.

Return to your lodge or tented camp in the Seronera region for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Arusha

Enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, making the most of your last moments in this stunning national park. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha with a game drive en route.

If you’re interested, you can visit the Olduvai Gorge archaeological site, known as the “Cradle of Mankind,” where significant discoveries of early human fossils were made (additional cost).

Day 8: Pick up in the hotel Arusha Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time in Arusha in the morning. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge and perhaps purchase some souvenirs or gifts from local markets.
Drop you off to  Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

The best time to embark on a 10-Day Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater is during the dry season, which typically spans from late June to October. This period offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities as animals congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot.

During the dry season, the vegetation is less dense, enhancing visibility for game drives and allowing you to witness the breathtaking wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park. Additionally, the Ngorongoro Crater’s vast wildlife population is more concentrated around the crater floor, offering unforgettable encounters.

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

You will be met at the Airport of Kilimanjaro by your Driver / Guide and our representative. We will take you to the Serena lodge situated outside of Arusha Town at the slopes of majestic Mount Meru. Our safari manager will come to meet you and to provide you with a safari briefing. Mount Meru Hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National park

After breakfast drive you to Arusha National park for game drive. Depart at 8:30 am to Arusha National Park game full day late back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Hotel

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge. Afterward, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch at the park.  Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Kitela Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible birdlife. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Dinner and overnight at  Kitela lodge

Day 5: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.  Stay in luxury tented Lodge.  Dinner and overnight at Kubu kubu Tented Lodge. or similar depending on the availability. 

Day 6-7: National Park Serengeti game drive

After breakfast, you will have a Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After early in morning breakfast you will have early in the morning Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge game drive later you will back to the picnick site to have an early hot lunch. After that you will continue with Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge. 

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha

Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”.
Later, you will proceed back to Arusha in the evening. Overnight at  Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 10:  Transport in Arusha – Kilimanjaro airport 

After breakfast we will pick you up at the lodge and transfer you to Airport.  Our pick up drop will be at Hotel on time  picking you up and driving you directly to Kilimanjaro /Arusha airport. This will be the end of Tanzania Medium Safari Lodge with us.

Day 1: Arusha lake Manyara

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up and depart to the Lake Manyara national park for your Northern Tanzania Safari game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Day 3. Lake  Natron – Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning exploring the Lake Natron.  After explore the Lake you will depart to Serengeti National Park

We descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy a 2hrs late evening game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti National Park

After having breakfast, you will experience Tanzania Safari holidays a game drive following the animal migration at the Northern Serengeti. You can see wildebeests, zebras, topi hartebeests, elands, antelopes, hyenas, and various birds singing on the trees while viewing the beautiful landscape and nature.
Usually, in July, August, and the beginning of November, the migration reaches its northern range in which the herds cross the grasslands on either bank of the crocodile-infested Mara River twice, as they complete their migration. You will also be able to enjoy the sunset at Serengeti between 18:20 – 18:40 after the game drive before returning and staying overnight.

Day 5: Central Serengeti National Park Safaris.

After breakfast, you will have a full day of Safaris in Tanzania game viewing at Serengeti National Park. Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park

On this day, you will start early at 07:00 for your Tanzania Safari holiday a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.
Your driver/guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating hidden animals. After all the great explorations in Ngorongoro Crater, you will go to Fanaka Campsite to have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8:  Tarangire National Park to Arusha

If you only have 4 days but still want to visit the most famous parks of Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara or Tarangire) this is the perfect tour for you. You only spend one night in Serengeti, which we usually think is too little. However, if your time frame is short and you really want to visit this amazing park, then this is the right choice for you.

A 4-day African safari is a wonderful thing. Yes, it would be nice to have more time on safari than just 4 days, but you can still see so much, even in such a short space of time.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

After early breakfast, proceed for a full day game drive at Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch at Dinner and overnight at Mid Range Lodge.

It’s the national park in which herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decrease lagoons. Day 1: Arrival at Arusha | Students’ Adventure Safaris in Tanzania

Depart from the airport on arrival and transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay and relaxation.

Day 2: Moduli Juu- Masai Village & Cultural Visit

After Breakfast Departure from the Hotel with lunch box together with guide and drive to Monduli Juu is a collection of four small Masai villages namely Emairete, Enguiki, Eluwai, and Mfereji.

Emairete comprises of a wonderful crater where, in former times, the cattle of only medicine men were supposed to graze. Enguiki village is named after its famous pastures.

Eluwai is a village called after the trees where certain small ants have their habitat and that are whistling in the wind. Mfereji is a village down the escarpment that, a long time ago, develop from a place where a South African lived who pulled a ditch down to bring water from the Monduli Mountains.

Day 3: Arusha National park (Walking Safari in Tanzania + Game Drive)

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Lake Eyasi

Drive to Lake Eyasi After breakfast, with picnic lunch. In some ways similar to the Amish, a handful of tribes in Tanzania have resisted modernization and for the most part, remain traditional. Hadzabe: Near Lake Eyasi, the Hadzabe are a small tribe who remain hunters and gatherers and speak a click language. It is important to visit them and learn about their culture, they will show you how to make a fire without matches and take you on a hunt with bows and arrows. Dinner and overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National park

After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Day 10: Tarangire National park Arusha

After early breakfast, proceed for a game drive at Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches.
