Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the lodge/hotel. You leave early to the Tarangire National park for your Affordable all inclusive trips to Africa. 10 Days Migration Safari. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park.

Day 3 : Tarangire  Walking Safari + Mto wa Mbu Adds on Activity to  Ngorongoro crater 

Today you’ll start with an exciting walking safari! Follow your experienced guide as they take you through a sensory experience. Tracking wildlife by foot and watching animals from a completely different perspective!

Check out the National Park and follow by cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu later drive you to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Ngorongoro crater  to Empakai Crater 

Olmoti climb
Starting directly from camp. The Olmoti climb follows an ancient Maasai cattle trail through mountain forest, grasslands and rocky outcrops. Make the most of outstanding birding opportunities and the chance to see a vast array of butterfly species. At the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent view of the crater below.

Empakaai descent
Descend into the Empakaai crater accompanied by an NCA ranger and walk to the sparkling soda lake on the crater floor. Famous for the pink flamingo that congregate on its shores. Because of the camp’s proximity to Empakaai. It is the only property that gives you the opportunity to make this a half-day excursion.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start your Tanzania safaris head towards the Ngorongoro crater game drive for 5 – 6 hrs.  After game drive and wildlife viewing in Ngorogoro conservation area. We will start Leaving the highlands behind. Descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. 

Head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area. One of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, featuring the Seronera River. Which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch at Nabi gate and enjoy the late 2hrs afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight Kubu kubu tented lodge. or other Lodges

Day 6 &7:  Central Serengeti game drive

After breakfast, you will have a Northern Tanzania Safari game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains. Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley is a year-round game-viewing. 

With Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands. And River line forest systems serve as critical water sources. It’s often an excellent site for wildlife viewing. 

Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra. 10 Days Migration Safari. The Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and many animals, dinner and overnight at  Kubu kubu tented lodge.

Day 8 Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

Tanzania Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari Packages. After having breakfast, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Since Serengeti is very large, your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants. 

Enjoy the vibrant Serengeti classic Safaris with bush lunch. Your guide knows very well how to locate the herds. Serengeti National Park is famous for the ‘Great Migration’ of more than one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand zebras each year.

In October and November, they travel from the mountains of the north southwards to the plains, seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds then make their return journey. Even without this mass migration, Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that will not fail to enthrall. You will have dinner and stay overnight at  Mara Mara Tented or Gnu Mara River tented camp.

Day 9:  Northern Serengeti Mara River Game Drive

Discover Serengeti National Park during the Great Migration definitely recommend making your way to the northern part of the park. The drive is really long but once you reach the Mara River, you will not regret it! After driving through woodlands and vast open savannah plains, all rather dry in August, North Serengeti is refreshingly green and lush.

Drive on the main road all the way to the Bologonya gate

 Take the small seasonal paths toward the West and the Mara River. Make sure to leave very early from Central Serengeti to reach your lodge or camp end of the afternoon, and enjoy a beautiful sunset with a well-deserved beer! dinner and overnight at  Mara Mara Tented or Gnu Mara River tented camp in the time of year, the migration moves through the park following grazing opportunities. We’ll make sure you’re at the best spot to catch the migration for whichever season you’re on safari!

Where the migration can be found throughout the year:

December: Central, Seronera Serengeti
January – March: Wildebeest calving season, Central to Southern Serengeti
June – Early July: West Serengeti and Grumeti Reserve
Late July – October: Northern Serengeti

Spend the next four days following the migration – perhaps through the vast open Southern Plains or if in August through October, hopefully catching the wildebeest as they cross the Mara River – quite an exhilarating spectacle!

Mornings start with a hot cup of coffee or tea and a light breakfast, then head out on an exciting game drive! In some areas, walking safaris can also be arranged by request.

Day 10 – Flying from Northern Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar 

Fly from the Serengeti back to Arusha and connect with your flight home or book an extension to one of the beautiful islands off the coast of Tanzania!
