14 Days African Photos Safari Adventures Full Tour Itinerary
Embark on a 14-day African photo safari, a mesmerizing journey through Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife havens. Begin at Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobab trees stand sentinel over vast landscapes, hosting diverse wildlife, including elephants and big cats. Traverse the enchanting Lake Manyara Park, home to flamingos and tree-climbing lions, capturing rare moments in this lush paradise.
Continue to the heart of the Serengeti, where the Central and Southern regions unfold dramatic scenes of the Great Migration, showcasing millions of wildebeest and zebras. Day 1: Arrival Tanzania in the midnight
Welcome to Tanzania! As your plane descends into Kilimanjaro International Airport between the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, your adventure into the wilds of the country will finally begin. Company representative will meet you in the arrivals hall of the airport, and together you will make a short drive to the Arusha Gran Melia Hotel just inside the city.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National park
We will pick you from your hotel at 8:30 am and then we drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing.
The Park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania dry season.
Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings later proceed to the lodge for Dinner & Overnight is at Kitela Karatu Safari lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After your breakfast, and then we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Western escarpment.
Park varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of Elephants; Manyara is famous for Tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Dinner & Overnight is at Maramboi Tented lodge
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we depart from the Camp and driver to Serengeti across Ngorongoro Conservation Area and later arrive on the great Serengeti plains for a different but just as spectacular wildlife viewing experience.
You will pass one of the world’s greatest prehistoric archaeological sites, called Olduvai Gorge, and then continue your way over the scrub lands and Dinner and overnight at Kubu kubu tented lodge.
Day 5-7: Game drive in Serengeti national park
After breakfast, you will have a full day game viewing at Serengeti National Park. Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forests.
Grumeti, Mbalageti, and Mara river systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large feelings of pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and able to see the other different animals. Day 8: Serengeti National Park to Southern Serengeti
After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will proceed to Ndugu which is in southern Serengeti. Today, you will be doing a game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to the Ndutu area.
Greater Serengeti ecosystem actually covers the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Masai Mara in Kenya, and numerous surrounding wildlife-protected lands that combine for a total of almost 17,000 square miles. Dinner and Overnight: Lake Masek Tented Lodge
Day 9-10: Full Day of Wildlife Viewing Around Ndutu.
What is the story behind the Big Five? It actually has nothing to do with the size of the animals to explore Photographic Safaris in Tanzania. In the 1800s, colonial trophy hunters named buffalo, rhino, elephant, lion, and leopard as the most difficult animals to hunt on foot were named the Big Five.
Years later, tourism companies adopted the term and the list became the so-called five must-see animals while on safari. A pre-dawn wake-up call leaves you time to drive to the balloon launch site in order to catch the most dramatic light.

Day 11: Ndutu game Serengeti Plain to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast in the lodge, you will have early in the morning game drive at Ndutu lake. Later have an en-route game drive to Ngorongoro highland dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena lodge or similar Melia Ngorongoro lodge.
Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi
You will depart the camp at around 06:00hrs and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive for 5-6hrs. The crater is only the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site.
Continue with your afternoon game drive. In the early evening, we will start driving to Lake Eyasi. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
Day 13: Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga Tribe-Arusha
The tour will start around 5 am and head to Lake Eyasi. Go hunting with the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in the world. After your morning hunt, you will visit the Datoga tribe, skilled craftsmen, and blacksmiths.
After your amazing cultural experience, you will be transferred back to Arusha. The afternoon breakfast lunch and dinner is included. Arusha Gran Melia Hotel. Having a day room at the hotel we book for you overnight in Arusha.
Day 14: Transfer to Airport (Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport)
