Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your lodge at 7:45 am for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll explore the park in an open-roof vehicle, taking in the seasonal swamps, expansive savannah, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for a variety of bird species, graceful giraffes, elegant impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and majestic elephants. You’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch at a picturesque spot with breathtaking views, followed by more wildlife viewing. In the evening, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire Safari lodge/ Tarangire, Kati Kati Tented Camp
Tarangire National Park is well known for its large groups of elephants and the huge number of giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season, as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire, you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals! Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari lodge/ Tarangire, Kati Kati Tented Camp
After breakfast, we depart from the accommodation and drive to Serengeti across Ngorongoro Conservation Area and later arrive on the great Serengeti plains for a different but just as spectacular wildlife viewing experience. Then you will have one of the world’s greatest adventure safaris with us. You will reach Naabi Gate around 2:30 pm. Then after the game drive, you will continue your way over the scrublands, and you will have 2 hrs late evening game drive in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at a comfortable accommodation in Serengeti
After an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. The Serengeti is a breathtaking expanse of endless plains, home to some of the richest wildlife populations on the planet. As Tanzania’s oldest national park and one of Earth’s most ancient ecosystems, its climate and landscapes have remained virtually unchanged for millions of years. The park’s vast grasslands provide ideal conditions for spotting an array of animals, from lions and cheetahs to giraffes, elephants, and countless grazing herds.
Awaken to the sounds of the Serengeti as the sun rises over the golden plains. After a hearty breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in this magnificent park—an experience that captures the very essence of the African luxury honeymoon safari from Northern Tanzania to Zanzibar wilderness. The Serengeti comes alive in the early morning light, offering incredible opportunities to witness predators on the hunt and herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle grazing peacefully across the vast savannah.
Today’s adventure begins early as you depart from the campsite with a packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive. This offers the best opportunity to spot animals when they are most active. A stop at a picturesque picnic site allows you to enjoy breakfast in the heart of the wilderness. Following this, the game drive will resume, keeping you captivated until you return to the camp around noon for a satisfying hot lunch. Once you’ve had lunch and loaded up your vehicle, it’s time to bid farewell to the camp and set off for Ngorongoro. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Mid-range accommodation in Ngorongoro.
After breakfast, drive along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descend into the crater floor for 5-6 hours on an adventurous path—what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants, and waterbucks increase during the wet season. Search for the ‘Big Five‘ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened black rhinoceros. Late back in Arusha overnight at Mount Meru hotel
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or your preferred drop-off point in Arusha for departure. Reflect on the remarkable wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and diverse ecosystems experienced during your 10-day mid-range safari. This marks the conclusion of your unforgettable Tanzania adventure.
For a 10-day Northern Tanzania mid-range safari, pack lightweight, breathable clothing in neutral colors, a warm jacket for early mornings and evenings, sturdy walking shoes, and a hat. Don’t forget sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and a small daypack. Bring a camera with extra batteries, binoculars, and travel-size toiletries. Include any necessary medications and travel documents. Layering is key for changing temperatures between savannahs and highlands.
