9 Day Tanzania Migration Safari: Tarangire, Serengeti Central, Western Corridor

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania 

Pick up at the airport ready to start 9 Day Tanzania Safari Holidays with wildebeest Tour & Vacation | Class African family Safaris. Our safari guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to Arusha Gran Melia Hotel we booked for you. BB- bed and breakfast is included.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park 

Migration safaris in East Africa: After having breakfast at the lodge, you will leave early to Tarangire National park. It is the third-largest park in Tanzania and characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of it.

Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park. Many animals, predators, and their prey gather around the river and you can do excellent game viewings. Dinner and overnight at the Chem Chem Lodge.

Day 3. Lake Manyara National Park 

After having breakfast, you will continue the journey and visit Lake Manyara National Park. The protected area encloses a large part of the alkaline lake of the same name. This amazing lake is the seasonal home of a giant flamingo colony and many more waterfowls. Furthermore, the park is well known for its “tree climbing lions”. Visitors can regularly observe lions taking a nap in the tree canopies or escaping from the heat on the ground. After watching the animals and exploring the national park, you will leave the park in the afternoon and travel to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. You will enjoy a wonderful view of the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara. Photo stops will be taken and you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views. Dinner and overnight at the Chem Chem Lodge. ,

Day 4: Chem Chem Lodge to Serengeti National Park

The breakfast will be at 06:00. Picked up from the camp at 07:00 while bringing packed picnic lunch and drove to Serengeti National Park for your Serengeti Budget Camping Safaris. You will enjoy game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. Having 4hrs late afternoon game drive
Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks on earth, renowned for its magnificent lions and the great migration. Day 5: Central Serengeti – Western Serengeti 

Head towards the western reaches of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Western Corridor. We will do a game drive en-route from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area.
Dinner and overnight in the Western Corridor area, as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. Dinner and Overnight at Melia Serengeti Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Western Serengeti Migration

Enjoy a full day game drive in the Western Corridor. A key feature in the Western Corridor is the Grumeti and Mbalageti Rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each supporting a band of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators, and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippos and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. Wildebeest normally gather around waterholes mid-morning in such densities, that they look like ants swarming around a nest. Dinner and Overnight at Melia Serengeti Safari Lodge

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater 

After having breakfast, you will experience a game viewing in Serengeti for three hours. Then, you will proceed with a game en-route and arrive at the Nabi gate to have lunch. You will then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Melia lodge.

Day 8. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha 

On this day, you will start early at 07:00 for a game drive (with a picnic lunch) in the Ngorongoro Crater. As animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 feet high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.
Your driver/guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After all the great explorations in Ngorongoro Crater. late in the evening drive you back to Arusha for overnight. Arusha Gran Melia Hotel we booked for you. BB- bed and breakfast is included.

Day 9: Arusha Gran Melia to Airport
