16-Day Tanzania lodging safari will cover most affordable and bestselling safari experience to travel with your own private guide and vehicle. Also experience staying at semi-permanent tented Camps to get you close to nature. Stay in the Serengeti with Seven nights on the short grass plains of Ndutu – allowing Full days of game viewing as you capture the great wildebeest migration form Serengeti -Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. You will drive from park to park where you will be able to enjoy the African scenery including the Great Rift Valley.

Itinerary

Arrive Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will meet our company representatives and transferred to Kia Lodge where you will spend two night, the next day will be spent at leisure. Overnight at Moivaro Lodge. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

Leave after breakfast with picnic lunch for Arusha National Park. The topography of this small park is amazingly varied including grassy plains, montane forest, volcanic craters, swamps, and saline lakes. On clear days we have excellent views of Mount Meru and of Mount Kilimanjaro. We can choose to game drive, to go on a game walk escorted by an armed ranger, or to do a canoe ride on one of the soda lakes. We hope to see giraffe, buffalo and black and white colobus monkeys, as well as some of the shy forest antelope – bushbuck, red duiker and maybe suni. Overnight at Mount Meru Hotel. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

Today we drive in comfort to Tarangire National Park for excellent game viewing. After a relaxing lunch, we’ll enter head off for game viewing in the national park; this is a small park which offers some excellent sights famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, plains game and predators. Generally i Tarangire is alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. We spend the night at Tarangire Safari lodge beautifully set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere. Overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

This morning we drive to Lake Manyara with picnic lunch. Much of the northern part of the park is fed by underground water from the Ngorongoro Highlands and as a result is covered in dense forest vegetation, giving the appearance of a tropical jungle. This forest is ideal habitat for elephant, bushbuck, blue monkey, and huge troops of olive baboon. Some parts are dry bush land attracting zebra, impala and giraffe, while the lakeshore provides another habitat, perfect for flamingos and other shore birds. Overnight at Kitela Lodge. Today we will leave very early in the morning (after a very early breakfast) and drive to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. There we will have a full day game drive, as we will be carrying our picnic lunch with us. The Crater is wonderful place – you descend more than 2,000 feet on steep tracks cut into the crater wall to reach the open plains of the Crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to view black rhino as well as large prides of lion that include magnificent black-manned males. It is also home to huge herds of wildebeest and zebra and many other plains game. An alkaline lake in the floor of the Crater provides a habitat for colorful flamingo and a variety of other water birds. Massive bull elephants feed in the swamps, some adorned with enormous tusks. We will have our picnic lunch at the hippo pool and later in the afternoon drive back to the Lodge for dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

We will leave this morning on our way to Ngorongoro Crater for full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to view black rhino as well as large prides of lion that include magnificent black-manned males. It is also home to huge herds of wildebeest and zebra and many other plains game, such as Thomson’s gazelle. An alkaline lake in the floor of the Crater provides a habitat for colorful flamingo and a variety of other water birds. Massive bull elephants feed in the swamps, some adorned with enormous tusks. Later in the afternoon drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

Leave after breakfast to the Southern Serengeti short grass plains where you will spend 7 nights Photographing Predators and Wildebeest. After your arrival Ngorongoro you will move into your tent and then enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive through the wonders of the Serengeti area. On the following days of your Serengeti stay you will leave the camp at dawn to see the wildlife activities. As the mornings are cool, many of the animals who are most active at night will still be out and about. Cheetah and lion will be hunting, along with the rarer African wild cat, bat-eared fox and honey badger. While Serengeti has a variety of wildlife, it has a very large population of gazelles, making it a prime hunting area for cheetah. For some of these early morning adventures, your camp chef will have prepared your breakfast; and at a morning’s stop in the bush, your guide will serve it to you. On other mornings you will return to camp for breakfast. Overnight at Lake Masek Tented Camp. Dinner, breakfast, lunch is included

Today you will have a leisurely breakfast and then start the drive to Arusha through the Great Rift Valley, close to Lake Manyara and arrive in Arusha in time for lunch. After lunch there will be time for shopping before the trip to the Kilimanjaro international airport for your departure.
